Hey!

           So as my title states it is definitely crunch time! Finals are less than a week away! Wow this semester has really flown by! I have papers, projects, and exams all piling up! Last night I finished two papers and tonight I have two study guides to finish. I can not believe that next thursday is my last day of finals! I am almost a junior! As excited as I am for summer break I am still a little sad. One of my best friends, Ashley Giltz, is going home for the summer. She lives about three hours away so I won’t get to see her very much. I am also not working at Body Central this summer so I am going to miss all the girls I work with.

                     Although finals are a drag this weather keeps my spirts up! But it can be hard to focus when the weather is so beautiful. I am a little nervous about my up coming finals because two of them will either make or break my grade. I am striving for all A’s and it is possible as long as I study hard. My advice for students who are taking college finals for the first time is to start studying early. Fill out study guides a week or two in advance and begin reading through them. Do not wait until the last minute to study for all of your finals! Welp I better head to class. I also have a tour at 1:00 and then work at 5:00. Busy busy….I know!

Well the semester is almost over! In a way I am sad because I will miss my friends but at the same time I am really happy. I love ISU, I love class, campus, my friends, and my major but I also love and miss my family. Last year I went home every single weekend to see my family and my ex boyfriend. I decided my sophomore year that I would get a job and stay at school more. I realized I needed that college experience. I am glad I did but having a job makes it hard to ever go home. It will be nice to just go home this summer and relax a bit. I am thinking about going home tomorrow when I get off work! I probably sound like a baby but I do not think there is anything wrong with missing your family no matter how old you are!

 Right now I am eating and getting ready to go to work. I work tonight until close and tomorrow I work for the office of admissions from 8:30-3:00 and then at my other job from 5:00-9:30! I am going to be very tired! I did that same shift last saturday. It was pretty rough, but I do love both of my jobs. Well I guess I should probably head to work. I hope everyone enjoys the beautiful weather!

Well today has started out great! I woke up early to study a little extra for my psychology 201 exam. Which was suppose to be on Friday, but luckily my professor had to move it to Monday! After waking up early and being very productive I then walked outside to a BEAUTIFUL day! I am so excited about this nice weather we are having! I love being outside and taking walks! I feel like I am in a better mood and more productive when the weather is nice. Oh and I just finished taking that test that I studied for. I am pretty sure I got an A!

             So, as you can see my morning has started out great. Today is my best friend Savannah’s 20th Birthday! I am excited that I do not have to work tonight so that we can celebrate! Last night my friend Ashley and I gave Vanna her presents. Tonight we are suppose to go out to eat with her boyfriend for her birthday! I am glad that I get to not only enjoy the weather and time to myself since I do not have to work but I am also very glad that I get to spend time with my friends tonight! I do have a test to study for and a paper to write but I feel like as long as I manange my time today I will be able to get everything finished.

            The semester is coming to an end and I still have alot of work to get finished. I hope that my productivity level stays the way it is so that I can continue getting things done! This week has started out good so I hope it ends as well as it started out! Well it is time for me to eat lunch before I give my 12:00 tour! I hope everyone enjoys the beautiful day!

Hello World!

                     I can not believe school is almost over! This semester well actually this entire school year has flown by. I feel like it was just yesterday that I was starting my first semester of my freshman year. Now here I am almost a junior! Craziness! Well spring break has come and gone and now it is time to get back in the swing of things! I am extremely overwhelmed right now! I tend to have the terrible quality of procrastination! Please learn from my mistakes and try not to put everything off until the last minute! I have two papers due in almost every class, tests every week, getting classes ready and organized for next semester, and a job! Plus a social life! But I know I have what it takes to get focused and get things done. I tend to work better under pressure anyways! This week is pretty crazy because I have worked more than I am used to plus I am changing my major so I have three meeting to attend to help me figure out what it is I need to do get everything on track. I also have a project due tomorrow, a take home test that is forever long due Monday, three chapters of notes I need done by tomorrow, and about three papers I need to get started on! I think the list goes on but I won’t bore you! Let this just be a lesson that it is best to not wait until the last minute to get your work done. I am not trying to scare anyone; college is only as hard as you make it. If you focus and get stuff done then it really isn’t that bad. Welp I guess I better head to class. Let the busy day begin! Hey Everyone!

                        So as my title states…Spring Break is almost here! I am extremely excited! I am going to Panama with some of my friends! It seems like all of ISU and all the surrounding colleges are going that but thats okay. I am so excited to just get a long week off to relax! I play on laying on the beach and coming back with a serious tan! I am not looking forward to the ride though! I hate riding in cars so I have a feeling it is going to be pretty interesting! Although we leave very soon, tomorrow at 5, I still have alot to do. I have most of my stuff packed but I have two tests to take! EW! Today I have one and then tomorrow. I am ready to get them out of the way and start enjoying my break. I think Spring Break is so imporant because as hard as students work i think we all deserve a week off! I know I do! Welp other than my spring break plans I really do not have much going on. Welp I will be sure to post about my Spring Break exerience once I return!!

Hello World!!!

…..So…. As my title states the week has just begun and it is already crazy! I work almost everyday this week and to top it all off my friends’ apartment is falling apart! I am not even kidding! They had to bunk with me last nite! I live in a dorm!! So at the moment I have three roomies! Its pretty crazy but fun non the less!! Not only do I work alot this week but I also have homework and studying to do of course. Spring Break is just around the corner and I am so excited! Some of my friends and I are going to Panama! I am so excited to get away, relax, and get a tan of course! Classes have been going well. I have decided to change my major to HDFS. (Human development and family sciences) I plan on minoring in Psychology so luckily I won’t be behind! Welp I guess I better go! My homeless friends need a ride! Have a wonderful week!!

Hello!

             As my title reads I am planning on having a good day! I woke up this morning and realized I am booked solid all day long! Between class, working out, meetings, studying, dinner, and of course watching the Biggest Loser; I dont think I will have a moment to just relax. Although I know my day is going to be a little crazy I enjoy that. I work better under pressure and stress. I was lucky enough to get work off because I have an imporant meeting with my advisor. I have to add a class to my schedule although the add drop date has passed. This experience has taught me to be more observant to deadlines and announcements around campus. I am lucky my advisor is allowing me to still add. The only thing about today that I am dreading is studying for my Psychology 100 class. I have a test tomorrow and I’m super nervous! All in all the best two things about my day will be having dinner with two of my best friends, Savanna and Ashley, and then watching Biggest Loser with them!! By the way I am really enjoying psychology. At the moment I and still very happy about deciding to declare it as my major! Welp I guess its time for me to head to class and start my day! I’m really excited for Friday to get here though! Ashley and I are going to my hometown to visit my family!! I am counting down the days!!

Hey!

         Alright so it has been a very long time since I have posted anything! Obviously I have been extremely busy!! Break came and went like it always does! A little too fast but it is good to be back. I went home over break to work but I also worked here in Terre Haute on occassions. Now with the new semester started I feel I am more focused and driven to work hard in my studies. I have began my major  classes and I love them! I am so excited to be a psychology major! Not only do I enjoy my classes but I also enjoy my job at Body Central in the mall. I feel that now that I am a sophomore I am responsible enough to juggle college and work. It was great getting to see my family over break but I was happy to come back and see all of my friends. I only have one complaint! The weather!! I am so excited for spring and summer to arrive! Hopefully I stick to my new years resolution and lose a little must needed weight! Welp I plan on posting within the next few days so feel free to visit again and leave comments!

Hey!

         So as my title explains this is finals week! Not a week a look forward to! But at least after this week I’m off for a while! That will be nice. Last week was dead week, which I’m sure all of you know is when no assignments or test can be given b/c it is a week for students to study. Alot of classes are cancelled during at week or else classes are just for reviewing for the final. None of my classes were cancelled!!! I was a little upset about that! I have quite a few pretty tough finals this week not to mention i will have to work. Thats right! I just got hired at Body Central! I really like it, but its a pretty big adjustment. I went from working very little to now working about 16 hours a week. Oh well christmas is coming up and i need money to shop for everyone! Tonight my girlfriends and I are having a little Christmas party. We are exchanging gifts and just hanging out! I’m pretty excited except for the fact that I still haven’t gotten their gifts yet! Oh well, I’m kind of last minute. I work best under pressure. I also have my hardest final tomorrow!!! I am so nervous and scared. But anyways I guess I better go and be productive. I can’t wait for Christmas break! I hope you all have a great break too! I’ll post over break of course! Leave lots of comments!

Alright so it has been forever since I have posted a blog!! Obviously I have been extremely busy! Sometimes I don’t even know where my time goes! As my title reads…this semester is almost over! I am pretty excited about that! I am ready to put this semester behind me and start fresh. This week is dead week which means exams are next week! I am so not ready to buckle down and study but of course I will. And I just got hired at Body Central so I will be really busy with work and studying!!! I think I am ready for a break! Welp I hate to cut this blog short but I have a tour to give. Feel free to post comments and I plan on posting at least one more blog this week!
